Hi

 

anyone looking for a chainsaw mill, i had this made by a friend at fab company to mill some very large pines, paid 150 for it, but i sold the timber to sawmill instead, i have never used it as i never got round to finishing it requires painting and some bolts and a clamp to finish. before i list it on evilbay open to offers

It looks a bit heavy. What is the weight of the jig itself?

Heavy is good. It's much more stable and less likely to jump about causing scoring of the timber.

 

Looks solidly constructed, if a little basic.

Might be interested, though looks a bit large for my purposes. I've just posted in the hope of getting advice on milling a large tree into posts. Is it still available? Whereabouts?

sorry for not getting back sooner pc probs (son took it back) i'm in livingston west lothian,don't have any measurement on it as i was intending to wait till after it was painted
