Iwas in london on saturday and as i was riding on the bus i was looking at trees (how sad) and i was thinking what a good looking tree the london plane is and so well suited to the stresses of city life and as other trees were dying the planes seem to all survive to a good old age.:001_smile:

I was in Cologne, Germany, a while ago and it was there i first viewed the Plane as a "nice" tree, I have work and loads over here and found them obviously very irritating to work with but on the bank of the river rhine there must of been 40/50 that i saw and they did look great!!

I was down in london for the charity shield at wembley recently, had a few hours round the paddington pubs and bars beforehand and couldn't help but have a gander at the plain avenues...looked fantastic...I have a bad habit of scoping out anchor points etc whenever I start looking at trees...lol
