Anyone know what the biggest bar is you can put on my husky 268 as it was second hand and no manual with it?:001_smile:
sky'sthe limit really david,if it mounts then you can cut with it.i would think with a 268 cutting hardwood 24" is a maximum,horses for courses really,i run ms440 and 088 both on 25" bars,just depends on the application,hope this helps,steve

makita electric stuff, drills etc, are really good, the best. I've been in building as well as trees, but I've never been impressed with their petrol powered stuff. I,ve only had makita things on hire for tree work, but find they're not as robust (switches and placcy bits fall off) and they seem more tempermental running wise than others. When they run well they're good, but they don't seem to run well for long.
