Is my trusted 044 Dead?

I'm going to speak to him later, I'll ask. I'm not sure how much work he wants. He sells firewood, does some forwarding, fencing etc. and fixes saws.

If he would accept saws in the post then he could get a lot of work. He orders parts through the nearby stihl dealer that he works for, then I pay them for the parts so I reclaim the vat and only pay him for labour, folding!

My two 020's cost £56.00 total inc parts, that for both, not each, one nearly got thrown in the skip and the other was heading for the parts dept.

ok, let us know, cheers. Ours will only end up on the scrap pile I expect but last time we had it working it was fine...

I'll be collecting my 044 probably next week, I'm away next weekend and doubt I'll get to him before then (he lives in a shed in middle of nowhere) so possibly not till the weekend of sept 6/7th.

Anytime you want to bring it over before then though, evenings, as I'm not working in chelt for a while, I'll be furhter south so not back here till 6 ish most evenings. Today if you want to get it over with! I might even be able to go see him and then colllect yours and mine at the same time in about two weeks?
