I know the county of salop (thats its proper name) fairly well. North of shrewsbury is quite an afluent farming area. South shropshire is the most layed back area I know in the country, the pace of life is very relaxing. A fantastic area in my eyes but each to their own.

I live just south of Shrewsbury. Have lived here for nearly all my life apart from 5 yrs in Buckinghamshire.

I love it, its beautiful, a great mix of terrain and some of the best views I've seen. The pubs are pretty good to!

Tom if anyone needs a tour of the place or any answers to other questions let me know!

I have lived in Shropshire for the last 22 years, fantastic place as the above poster said north Shropshire fairly affluent and may i say a little boring. South Shropshire has all the hills and is unspoilt. If you want a bit of a alternative life style head over to Bishops Castle in the south west of the county. South Shropshire also has the lowest population per sq mile in England.

Tom

P.s i Love it
