Pine takedown. Head-cam footage

Evenin' all. Here's a little vid of a pine takedown we did this week, simple really, spike up, lower down branches on a pulley and chog the rest down. Good stuff!!

 

But I will never understand why people lower the branches, but chog the stem, surely if the stem can just be dropped why not the branches???????????

 

often because branches will go where they want to go, say you can only drop stuff one side of the tree, branches on the opposite side cant just drop. but timber is easy to push off after its been cut which ever side of the tree you wish.

Just swing them round.

nice one mate good job, as its already been said it is a shame it wasn't all lowered, still nice and safe.:thumbup:

 

As for the size of slings ??????? come on thats just being picky whats wrong with them.
