hi i noticed this last week that my spiderjack slipping slowly down the rope and it requires a tug of the rope upwards below it (hope that makes sense) do i need a new cam or something? Help!! i dont want to die!

the clutch on the spiderjack is designed for 11-13mm rope on the same clutch how long have you had the spiderjack and have you been controlling your descents, don't mean that in a you don't know what you are doing way, just fast and hard descents can cause the clutch to wear fast.

no never do fast descents really, had it around 2 years and love it, i think it needs a new clutch, hmmmmmm, i might ring up good old treeworker tomorrow

 

pretty much all it can be mate, would recommend a new clutch.
