Public liability/indemnity. Recommendations?

I am hoping there may be a few of you out there who have insurance!:001_smile:I would be pleased to get a few pointers as to who has a good rep. within the industry, any companies that may be more hassle than they are worth etc,etc. Last policy (and first) was taken through Trust who have given me no reason to walk away but i am going to shop around before commiting to them again this year. As you are probably all aware taking the word of a telephone salesperson can often end in disaster, and if i can save myself an afternoon trawling through policies i will. All advice/comments warmly welcomed. Thanks

I'm with trust and they give good advice (Cameron) but make sure all your docs are in order or its just a waste of money. I think any insurer will try to sneak out of it if poss.

NFU, done over the phone, no complicated questions about % of work doing this that and the other.

The difference in price between companys is amazing some quoted me several thousand no sodding way.

 

But there are some that will give you a great price search on your own and you might come across a newish company who will offer great deals as they are attracting new business just read the idiot print lol.

£1088 for PL, EL and tool insurance for 15K

IM with cis but nfu are dearer but by 100 quid and im thinking of goin with them because their price includes my chipper and kit.
