By the bridge on the main road opposite the dove cote there are three little cottages, its the one at the back with a garden that has the river either side. Its a great little village been going up there years as they used to own one of the front cottages called riverside i think, sorry for the derail by the way

husky's rule  (except for their big saws and clearing saws :blushing: ) and some random woodland pictures of a poplar plantation  mmmm nice

Try the 576 70ish cc but its dam powerful. The new 390 is a hell of a saw too rather that than my 660. As for clearing saws i loved my 345fx the 345rx with the clearing saw head just ain't the same. Perfer both of thoses to the FS450 and FS450k

Stihl for show; Husky for Pro

I'm going to be controversial and throw in a curveball - Jonsered :001_tt2: Loads of the old guys round here used to run them as they were cheap

to stay on track, if you squint hard enogh you can just make out the old school husky hanging off the winch, and the edge of my trusty 353 after some mild stunt felling.

I've nothing against Stihl, and for big timber would take a 660 every day of the week, but for that instant zap for snedding I don't think you can beat a husky.

hmmm think that will have to wait, fancy a 560xpg though  although the 372 does a grand job and the new 346xpg is an awesome saw

no replacement for displacement, stihl fs550 for clearing saw, destroyer of large areas of scrub in a hurry

oh and back to the original question, yes its mint doing forestry work
