I have a KM56 with the pole saw, it does seem underpowered and when cutting it tends to stop if it bites into the wood too much and I have to keep lifting it up out of the cut to get it going again, which gets a bit frustrating.

I would try and go for the bigger engine KM130

Looking at buying a new combi engine, any thoughts on the 56? I know it's the smallest one, will it run a pole saw and an extension or two ok? Cheers

the km56 is more for the domestic market,,, km 90 or bigger would be the way forward

Another vote for the 130R.

Makes easy work of big old conifer hedges and even I could not get the pole saw stuck! :001_rolleyes:

Depends on what you are doing I suppose, if you are only using it occasionally on light stuff. But for thicker stuff if it keeps getting stuck or struggles you will soon wish you had gone for the bigger one.

Well that was my thinking
