for the sake of your back and overall sanity get yourself one of these. Not much in difference price wise to cooper peglers and a HELL of a lot more comfortable. If your going to be using it alot its well worth it. You can also get battery powerd versions to save your arms.

Take a look at Jonsies site here. The Classic ones are the original type with the broad base available in Classic CP3 and Classic CP15 forms. Then there is the "new" one which is the Series 2000 CP3 and Series 2000 CP15

The tall skinny ones are the Series 2000

From what we were told they had intended to phase out the original (Classic) model but due to user feed back they ended up having to keep it and call it the Classic

It's funny, we also run an NPTC assessment centre, and train and assess in pesticides. The training rooms have one of each type and I'd say if I am assessing and ask the candidate to get a sprayer ready they nearly always choose the older Classic!

As a designer, manufacturer and end user I am often stunned at what is available for the industry to work with. Sometimes I think that some companies are guilty of using the term "new and improved " once to often. I do believe that many designs of new products are not properly field tested and the end result is usually a very unhappy end user.
