Is there a diference between an Alsation and German Shepherd?

Same breed. Always were called a GS until the wars, then because anything German was very unpopular, they changed it to Alsatian. They changed it back mid '50s or '60s I think. Much like the Royal family really, though they haven't changed it back yet.

Stunning gsd very clever keen to play and learn by the looks I have two gsd's both so different but an intelligent breed would never have another breed of dog again after keeping a shepherd they are fantastic with my family :001_smile:
