Well another day where I need a guy. Simple enough job. Conifer work and a laurel to either shape or remove. Customer will decide on the day. Pushing for removal though.

 

Own kit would be handy. My climbing gear is in for LOLER so will need rope and harness. I can provide everything else.

so do you need a climber? or some one with kit who doesnt mind you using their gear?

i dont mean this with any ill feeling rob but when did you book the job in? if its been booked for a while is it wise then to have gear in for loler? would it not be better to plan ahead a little as if you cant get anyone to help will you have to cancel? if you do the customer may find it un profesional. These are just thoughts and i am in now way slagging you or having a go:001_smile:

No offence taken. I can see the reason in your post. It's been booked for a couple of weeks but the LOLER is important. The job requires a very short amount of climbing. I would say less than half an hour. The LOLER inspector is a college instructor and this week is his only slot. So I'm having to do it. I have a good network of people if I need them. Who are always grateful for any work I send their way.

 

I have organised some kit. So I am after a groundy now. It was late and I was tired when I posted so I may have not made much sense!
