You'll have to ask Nod about the course, I managed to teach myself before the course, it's simple and you will pick it up easily. I could make you one if John or Rich sends me the spec for their RG, I don't use one myself.

That looks like the way forward! Is that a sirrus loop? What length do you need to get the three wrap prussik? Will the shorter one do it?

 

Rupe, I just compared the Sirius loop to the cocoon sling and they were the same size but just under a 10 cheaper iirc. I put wire inside the loop and shrink wrap on the outside.

Ok, will get me a loop, I only have dyneema slings and they bight too hard (dont slide).

I might be able to, butonly for saturday morning I think, so not decided for sure yet.

 

Thats all I need is the rope splicing bit, I have the trapeze from my old RG and a cocoon and even a pinto in the post as we speak so might use that. Would you be able to do me one?

 

How much would it be to make one and post it if I dont go to capel? If I do go to capel then the cider will have to wait for another time, unless you plan on getting on it lunchtime!?
