Hi just thought id pass on this info in case your offered work by West Coast on the CN contract as a few contractors i know have walked off contract this week owing to the following clauses in a new contract, they have been told to do -

 

Install West Coasts tracker systems on their own vehicles at their own expence and maintain

 

Have West Coasts livery put on their own vehicles ( only can be done in Mould Sth Wales)

 

Have no vehicles or chippers older than 5 years old on contract

 

£1000 fine if shutdown is cancelled due to contractors fault plus payments to other contractors effected

 

Plus another 35 plus clauses

 

What do you think i know times are hard but this really does seem to be very harse and severe

Id never even entertain conditions like that unless i was charging £10000 per day lol
