Anyone fitted one to their truck? I want something for blowing dust off saws and the odd tyre etc. Just wanting a decent make with a reasonable air capacity.

could you not just use a normal 240v one and plug it into a 12v invertor ?

 

would need to be a very big inverter. If you find a good one I would be interested as I am looking for something 12v to keep the air tanks up on my log trailer if I use a tractor with out air.

ive never used one of the invertors i never knew there were different sizes. cheers for that.

no the tmax are stand alone

 

you could use a small lorry air tank nylon pipe and push fits and plumb it up as a fixed install lots of guys do this i even know the method of using an old aircon pump for a compressor to !
