It'll cost ya

Here's a whole variety of bug-fung interaction, from the vaults...........

ranging from the galls of the yellow flat footed fly grubs, on this Gano from the Whip.

Lesser stag using the Perenniporia bracket on this Robinia, as it's home.

Bottles becoming drunk on the sweet stench of this Stink horn.

Flies probably taking moisture (or is it the spore?) from the underside of this bracket.

Hornet inbibing on the dryadeus.

& a big fat slug mid munch upon this stool.

amazing how posts have a habit of turning up on their own

You should have kept a couple to find out what they turned into.

May of been of interest to some bug geek or other

Was breaking open some old gano's today to see what lay within (as you do!)

Within 1 were 4 of these beetles......no entry points at all....weird! Was if theere had been eggs layed there and that was there existence! Any ideas what they are.......fascinating stuff anyway.

In another there were loads of very small golden colored ants........coudnt get a shot.....but i will!:001_smile:
