As per title....have you?

A little instruction how to make a handy vise at your refill point!

I went to a refresher course earlier this week and was reminded of this little gem.

Sorry about editing and poor quality as I filmed it on my Iphone.

Borecut about 1'' from top, bore a few times to make the hole wider, cut down a few inches and then up through the top. mark the bottom of the cut on the outside, bore through to take some wood out, cut from the side leaving a hinge, cut top sides off to make charpening easier, place your saw and insert wedge and give it a whack thus locking your saw. The saw is tight around the bar but chain is possible to move as in a normal vise.

Only prob will be doing all those ripping and boring cuts with your blunt saw.

Nice idea though.

Yeah but if you plan ahead and do this little thing at your refillpoint before you start cutting grit.....:001_rolleyes: Not for everyone though as some people cant plan a pissup in a brewery....
