Think I'm better prepared for this evening now, set up a voice recorder to the detector, so I can playback and check up, night vision scope to track the bats, camera and a seat.

Pipistrelle flying about above the yard yesterday afternoon about 3.30.

 

Would have thought it would have been tucked up in bed by now with a hot water bottle & a few issues of Bat weekly to see it through the dark cold times ahead :confused1:

I guess there are still some insects about.

 

We had a lot of midges about at the end of November, which I don't ever recall seeing before.

 

 

Its starting to get cold down here now Dave, I think I may have to put on slightly longer shorts this morning :lol:
