could anybody give me an idea on what a acre of wood is worth it is very steep only winch work but not worried about the wood in there. it just attaches to my field the next door neighbour was thinking of selling it.ts a dingle really any opinions would be a help

area of the country would help give a better idea, what access like etc softwood or hard? as it could be between 500quid and 4k depending on many factors. if your looking at buying its worth getting a professional opinion on its value

Hi I tried to buy 8 acres near lydney, I thought it would go for about 10-18k nut actually went for 50k. Gobsmacked as it was on a steep hill and full of rubbish with no decent trees!

 

Anyway probably best not to let your mate see this!
