ok look guys I am working for a jap knotweed firm who only deal with this stuff so I am sure they know what they are talking about and I am quoting from the tender doc ( set out by another jap knot weed comapny the LA & defra. So thanks for your concern. I will not bother asking again.

As for the distance I cover the whole of the Uk and even go into france & spain.

I apologise if anything was taken wrong. But if that's what the tender quotes and there's a specialist firm In there to deal with it. It doesnt seem right. I only mentioned it because it's horrible stuff. Which can all to easily be made 10x worse!

I have now qualms about travel. You have to go to the work. Good on you for working across the country. I struggle to find it outside my hometown!

thank you,

the only reason we are using a side arm flail is because it is grown on a very steep slope and cant cut it by hand. Also as I read the tender and from my customer the knotweed is very old and has been treated before and did not work so what they are hoping is that cuting it back will make it reshoot then spray it and kill it quicker but I am not a knotweed expert and take my guidance from my customer (the expert) the site is over 20,000 mSq so digging would not really be an option.
