Raising prices wouldn't really help because i really am running very low as a result of losing a lot of stock to a hidden leak. I know seasoned, dry cord doesn't really exist but i cant find anything anywhere that might be suitable, am starting to get a bit desperate.

I'm a bit surprised you cant find any in the Forest area, would have though there would be a fair bit around there.

almost everything is managed and sold at tender by the forestry commission and ive never seen a tender less than 500 tonnes, far too much for me im afraid

Charging what?!?

I imagine that the 65 refers to pounds, i haven't worked it out exactly but thats about £85 for a cube of properly seasoned hardwood delivered and stacked which i think is a perfectly reasonable. I'm fed up of people making out that im involved in some sort of scam, firewood is my only source of income and i take pride in providing a proper service and quality wood a reasonable rate. Its not like i'm raking it in, i scarcely make what i would if i was on job seekers.

Chill dude we are all in the same boat as you justifying prices to people who need to reign in their expectations so I dont think thats what he meant. £85 per cube is what i am currently charging and i am also stacking my logs or kinda dumping (not number 2 dumping btw!) in people wood stores.

My prices next season will be increasing though.
