Hi just got my first website.

I provided the wording and photos and a Guy I know did the layout and hosting for me.

I am happy with it for my first site, but any comments or something I may have overlooked would be appreciated.

Thanks for the comment.:001_smile:

The site only has 1 link that is to the contact us section

The next plan is to make the site bigger with a few extra pages gallery and other bits

What about maybe making the company title block a bit stronger. Different type face, colour or size.

Its got potential. I have to admit, I wouldn't know where to start in making a website despite how easy everyone keeps telling me it is. My contribution to our one was to get the pictures and the blurb together - then I hand it over to our web guy and he types in the strange numbers and letter codes and it appears on the screen - must be some sort of black magic!:confused1:

At 46 I did not do much computing at school we had only just moved on to paper from slate and chalk, and only rich kids had a calculator:001_smile:

good start Nick,

maybe time for yet another career-switch in these desperate desperate (yes, i meant that twice!) times to get flashy with photoshop, dreamweaver fireworks and the like for quality arb-esque? website creation?

Thanks for the replays and feed back

The site cost me £144 total which includes 1 years web hosting

I think the charge was about £72 a page

hi, i use 1and1.co.uk for my web hosting, you can use any of there templates copy and paste you pics and type straight on the web page as you build super simple. price wise, to buy your website name ranges from £1.99-£9.99. and depending on how many pages you want depends on how much it is per year. if your thinking about a web page take a look it is so simple even i managed to do it and i don't do computers.

cheers
