buying a Ranger????!!! What do you want a "clit" truck for!!??? The Auction is a good place mate, normally people view on a Sunday and attend the real Auction on the Monday, you can even make a bid over the phone or find out the reserve, the guy in charge is very helpful too. Also if you came on the Monday there is an Ifor williams dealer (new trailers) less than a mile from the Auction site:001_smile:

try http://www.theauctioneer.co.uk it is a monthly auction held on the last monday in every month, it is in Essex however but i go every month and there are some great trailers of all different sizes and many in great condition, they go very cheap. might be worth a look

never have so many white transit vans ever been seen in the same place at one time (not even fords factory!)

still have my doubts about some lots there being kosha, who the hell sells off well used full tool boxes,

but yes the prices are proper cheap!

oh by the way i had a 6x4 trailer of these guys they are well made imports from holland i think tows fine with the atv on at ......well faster than you need to tow at! and tracks well doesnt bounce,

Yeah, i totally agree with you there, but with a trailer, long as u check serial number and have a good look over it it should be all good, some are even new!! The chainsaws/diggers etc can all be started etc but i would be very weary about buying anything like that from any auction....still if u have a few quid to spend and like tinkering like me its a good place to go

Just a note to anyone looking at buying a second hand Ifor Williams trailer. These are one of the most common stolen trailers, but one check you can easily carry out is to get the serial number and phone a main dealer. Ifor Williams hold serial numbers of trailers reported stolen to them. If the serial number flags up stolen, the police will be contacted, and you know not to buy it! No data protection issues at all.

Its only one check, as the owner might not have reported it to Ifor Williams, but its better than nothing.
