no i would put it down operator control,dont forget the pulley under it like in the manual....makes it a lot smoother branch walking.

Not yet, I'm going to break out the Tachyon on the get together day and have a play with it then.

pulleys new to me going to try that one. been running mine of tachyon, better than your more standard semi static. less bounce, still can't beat using static line. thats at its best. does exactly what you want it to when you want it to. doesn't dig to hard into the rope. got told off for doing that though, again!

used it all day today and I'm liking it, keep going to grab a bit higher up where the prussic used to be! did find it a bit close to the harness though. def need a pulley now.

 

50ft up and didn't get any slack feeding

Just put a short tape sling between you and the lockjack to get it farther away from you, double up the sling to get it a bit closer and connect directly to your harness ring to get closer again.

depends on what diameter your using if it's 12-13mm generally doesn't tend aswell, or maybe your rope was resting on a load of limbs below you.
