got some hammerite on the bumpers, wheels and wing mirrors - looks good as new! :sneaky2:

going to get a woodburner made for it soon and put insulation, ply line it and electrics.

oh, and i forgot to mention, it has a plaque in it saying " This ambulance was used in London's Burning, The Bill and Eastenders" - what a star!

first port of call is to get sheets of 25mm celotex insulation.

also, a bit of leccy wiring, then ply lining ontop. i'll be going round scrappy's looking for old caravans to get a few bit n bobs. a wood burner made from an old gas bottle will go in the corner to keep it toasty in winter. lots to keep me busy!

I bought a wood burner from an auction and fitted it in my office. Its too small as it was fitted in romany caravans in the 80 and 90's . If i fit a bigger one I will let you know. I will try and remember to get the name of it. It is fantastic as it burns coal and wood has a moving riddle in base lights really easy and totally controlable with ash pan so can keep it going 24/7 . It is about 14" wide and 10" deep with this going you wont need insulation.
