Hardwood Wanted Edinburgh.

Anybody got any Hardwood for sale? Any amount from a landy & trailer load to an artic load. Can collect smaller amounts with landy also got Scania 18 tonner with truck mounted forklift (needs to be hard standing as only one wheel drive). Edinburgh,Lothians,Borders Area.

I am sure you have seen truck mounted forklifts before, they sit on special fabricated brackets on the back of trucks.

 

Moffett Mountys are the most common,tend to be much larger than my one, they are three wheel drive giving them better off road ability, but weigh 1.5 tonnes upwards, where as i have got a Kooi App, one wheel drive more suited to tarmac (have got stuck a few times going off road:thumbdown:) and only weighs 1 ton, giving me a greater payload,of ten tonnes.

 

Despite its limited ability, still a very handy machine to have, making deliveries

around Edinburghs tight lanes and busy streets.Even use it as a back up around the yard moving/loading bags of logs if the loader tractor is on another job.

 

Might invest in a Moffett one day but i would also need to buy a larger truck to take it,like a six wheeler, more ££££
