Tree and stump removal

Due to the floods the night before the APF our local river took quite a beating, years of neglect final caught up.

The whole wall has been undermined as has the tree, i have to remove the tree and stump so the engineers can assess the sink hole beneath the stump. It is all being done by hand:001_rolleyes:

The first pic is where the main damage was caused, i am working about 100m further down the river.

Have you dropped an allen bolt in the first pic???

ha ha, i thought that too. That Allan Bolt must be a street bollard or something because that hole is HUGE, i will get another pic to show you the scale. The new fence to the right of the bridge is 8 feet high

in days gone by David, the big pool at the bridge is quite famous in the town with a lot of old boys and my Grandfather spent all his time there, but as the years have went by and the houses got closer i don't know if many return tbh.

I wish i had an airspade lol., the final cut is approx 3 feet across
