Hi , sorry mine aint for sale but i would highly recommend a perception acadia touring kayak. Had mine a while now and mostly use it on the broads and local rivers and have had great fun in it in the sea. Very stable and a dry pod for lunch beers and other stuff you need to keep dry. I have added a pic of last summer me and a mate went on an approx 12 mile paddle on the norfolk broads.

Sorry Stevie. None for sale at the moment.

I paddle on the west coast (of Ireland). We have fleet of about a dozen but the postage from me to you would destroy any 'bargain' that could come along when we're due to retire or upgrade any boats.

What's caught your interest in sea kayaks?

I have one that I am about to put on eBay however Scotland is a long way from me.

try me, pics please:thumbup1:

I have always wanted 1, yet its probably my biggest fear:blushing:i tried it once years ago in NZ and loved it, we were with intructors so i felt very safe.

I would go for lessons and some training first though. I met 2 guys today down the beach and i could see they loved it and they gave me loads of tips and advice:thumbup1:

The sea is right on my doorstep and we have hundreds of beautiful lochs very close by:001_smile:

Very jealous Stevie.

What about something a bit more substantial so you can go out with the wee ones when they're a little bigger?

You don't need training top use a ''sit on top kayak'' just make sure you use a pfd/life jacket leash your paddle to the kayak, and wear a drysuit if going out in winter, if you plan on anchoring up then that's a slightly hazardous task but not rock science.........
