The ram on this splitter is reasonably slow so it would take a fairly determined effort to lose a finger!!! Hope your mate heal's quick!

 

I know a few lad's on here have the same model of splitter so i'm sure it has been done and mentioned somewhere on arbtalk, although i now can't find it.

I think you could find other ways of speeding up the job. I have a big table beside the splitter and get all the rings stacked up for me or my dad. It saves me picking them up from the ground.

I know where you are coming from, and we never plan an accident but i would take the advice of others that have learnt the hard way:001_smile:
