ATV/4X4 hire

Good evening all,

 

I have a slight issue, i am half way through a 1 mile rabbit fencing job on a farm and the clutch has gone on my truck, dose anyone know of anywhere in east anglia i can hire a quad bike or a 4x4 with of road use allowance? will need if from monday for a week. if it's a quad i have another van i can use to get it to site with trailer or in the back. any ideas greatfully received.

Could try this firm, SHB 4x4 Group - Vehicle Hire, Sales and Servicing they supply heaps of 4x4's to large contractors/festivals etc.

I'd have said your best bet is to get the clutch done pronto. A weeks 4x4 hire from somewhere like SHB and you may as well have had the clutch done for the same money. If you were nearer to me you could have borrowed a quad

i can't get my clutch fixed untill mid/end of next week. i've tried shb hire price not bad £245 for the week (would have been worth it) but would involve driving to derby to collect.

Its a long shot, but try Fieldens for a UTV/ATV, as far as I'm aware they hire out.

Normally SHB deliver. Send the guy in the 4x4 you hire with a tiny motorbike in the back that they ride back to base in.
