is this distel knot to short

hi guys, new to hitch climber was going to sell but persuaded to by some armur prus and try get used to it, just wanted to no is the distal knot tied to short because previously i had the ocean poly it seemed much longer does it matter how long it is,

here a pic so anyfeed back would be much appreciated

Think it can be as long or as small as you like As long as your happy with it and it feels right i think i would be ok

Think of it like a prussicks Some people like it long some like is short and your welcome

As the above comments say - you have to be happy with it.

 

Another thing you could fiddle with would be to turn your distel round on the rope - so that the tails of the hitch are on the outside and away from the krab.

You might find it a bit too short but it will work. If too short it just means that you cant pull it towrds you very far so it might not release enough. It will be safer short though so try it and let it out a bit if you need to.

 

Experimenting is the only way. Its different for everybody so you can only make you own mind up really.
