300tdi engine wanted

Anyone know of a good source to get a good 300tdi engine for defender,

 

Got a 200tdi with 80K on the clock if your interested? Only thing is you have to take the rest of the vehicle with it -- L Reg 110 Hi Cap Pick Up that needs a new chassis, bodywise its fine - was bought as hobby/project but havent had time or extra cash to do it up, its yours for £950. Can post pics if your interested.

Is the whole chassis shot?

 

Yes, tap a small hammer on any part of the chassis, chances are it'll go straight through.

 

Reckon the previous owner was a shepherd/farmer, seen that kind of corrosion in farm Defenders in the past. Bought it with the intention of fitting a galvanised chassis.

logistics on pick up wouldnt really justify

 

Someone will snap that up loads of life left in the rest of it!

200 tdi is a good unit 2oomls plus on the ones bombing about n still working for a living

 

sure it wernt coccle pickers!
