Has anyone any experience with the Iveco Daily 50 or 60's.

On paper they look like a good arb trucks, small enough for most domestic work but you won't be breaking the law by the time you put your lunch in..!

Used to run a 50C140 van where I used to work and it was really quite good. It had been downrated to 3.5 tonne but nothing had actually been changed, just meant we couldn't carry as much.

It went well, had a great turning circle and carried load well. Also towed very well too.

I just got a 35c12 116bhp makes a transit look like a toy of a truck, much faster pulls so much better tight turning circle, springs are alot better i have 5 compared to two on a transit.

My only gripe is i got no lekky windows carrys a load like a transit carrys no load.

I would of like air con to

anyone have any experience on downgrading an iveco 50c to 3.5t instead of 5.5t?

Looking at getting one soon but don't have my licence sorted yet so was going to run around in it for a bit at the lower rating. It weights 2.8t unladen atm so will be able to carry 'a bit' till get everything sorted lol.

Anyone have any info? is it hard to do? expensive? take a long time? cheers
