I took quite a few pics of various things as it was one of the few days recently where i could take some decent pics. Some of the fungi i took pictures of i recognise but others i don't. The ones i dont know are the first 6then after that its just the best pics that i took.

It was found on a fallen Scots pine. There was several brackets around but most of them were dead. I do use the fungi directory. Its very helpful. The only issue is you have to know what your looking for. If you know its a bracket then you look at the sapros and the parasitic. Would be handy if there was a little thumbnail picture next to the fungi so people can check their pics with the ones on the fungi directory.

Think this is a little difficult to be sure about.

 

Could be Fomitopsis pinicola especialy being on Pine. But not 100% on this.
