Have you sorted your sound issues?

Oh cheers, yes I have I'm pleased to report. Franklin silencers tried to lighten me of £1000 for their design so in the end I put a Peugeot speedfight scooter exhaust on it; calculated that exhaust flow / volume would be similar (50cc 2-stroke at 10,000 rpm vs 270cc 4-stroke at <3000 rpm) so back pressure wouldn't be a problem. You can see the twisting shape of the exhaust where the splitter is up against the wall in pic 2. The amount of noise it cuts down is little short of phenomenal - tickover is barely audible and at running speed much more muted and hushed. RIKO take note - a scooter exhaust system makes the machine much quieter!!
