Hi guys hows everyone doing,

just wanted to ask about some glasses, at this present time im climbing with the stihl mesh visor and ear muffs on my old style petzal lid.

Im always getting dust and crap in my eyes even when using the visor, my question is what are the most common glasses used at the moment while working up in trees

Thanks

Gaz

I got some sports safety glasses from Lidl. They came out a few weeks ago so watch for them coming again. They come with changeable UV protective lenses and you have the option of taking the padding off to make them more breathable. They have wrap around elastic so they can be used in conjunction with ear muffs.

I find all glasses steam up but I've taken a fine 1mm drill bit and poked holes around the edge of the lenses to minimise condensation. The orange tinted lenses brighten a dull day up a bit too!

stihl safety glasses are my choice in yellow or orange (happy glasses)or bolle spider sunglasses for those rare days you need sun glasses

I got a pair of these SSG jockey goggles, for those dusty occasions, in irridescent blue, good in bright sunshine, tho they do clear, yellow, orange and red too. They have vents so they dont steam up, and fit over my specs.

CAUTION: These are not approved for tree work!! :scared1:

I'm that short sighted my prescription glasses will turn just about anything!

Im in the same boat, and those goggles fit nice and snugly over the top of me specs
