Nearly half an hour long but some good footage and narrative of how it was.

All that felling and cross-cutting by hand...just shows what an innovation the petrol chainsaw was! and the timber hauler looks like a model T Ford on skis..

 

Yep, the chainsaw was a great invention, but, those guys still got the job done!

Not to many obesity problems neither despite having 4 cooked meals a day, :laugh1:
