Has any one got any idea on what could be wrong with my timberwolf 190? I cant get the antistress working. Had a similer problem a few years ago with a tw150 and it was the sensor on the engine. I,ve had the tw190 in bits but cant see any stress sensor and cant figure out what it could be.

Hi Smithers. Slide off the side panel on the ignition switch side and right in the middle you'll see 2 plastic 2cm cubes with cicuitry in them. To see if these sensors are working, fire up the machine and open the throttle. Press the 'In-Feed' button and the top cube should show a red LED glowing inside. Press the 'Reverse' button and hold it, crane your neck around (unless you have an assistant!) and the bottom cube should show a red LED. If none of the above happens, then my guess is those sensors are the root of the problem.

 

Having said all that, if you've got lovely sharp knives and feeding shorter or thinner bits, then the No-Stress won't kick in anyway!

Timberwolf have relays in the fuse box that are prone to break down. if you check the manual and see if it's one of them

had a problem with my old entec - no stress wasnt kicking in at all - turned out to be slightly slack belts

Thanks for the info lads, I,ll have a go at getting it done once I,ve got christmas out of the way.

happenned my 190 once or twice .slightly slack belts each time

Thanks, tightened the belts and it works as good as new.

and aint the belts fun to get tensioned correctly whilst still keeping everything square !!!! i do miss my old 190 sometimes !!!!!
