Pest & Disease of trees book

Can anyone recommend a good pest & disease of trees book or books. Dont mind whether lots of good pictures or academic text. I just want to build up my reference library.

In my library, that I am always adding to like some form of OCD!

 

I have the following, and doubt there is much i cant deduce from these, they are invaluable to me.

 

tree diseases and disorders Heinz butin

Diseases of trees and shrubs, Lyon and Sinclair second edition

Diagnosis of ill health in trees from the stationary office

 

got others for fungal issues all shigos etc which all ahve thier bits bit the above three give a pretty exhaustive range of information and disorders

There is a lot to be said for a good old read, but make sure you get out there and blend book knowledge with the real world observation of these things, there really is no better way to develop ones own appreciation of these things.

Hama the trees disease by Butin, i saw one on auction but it was quite expensive, does $150.00 US sound about right? i love that book and would love to get one.

That sounds a little high imo @ about £97

I have a '95 edition which I think was around £50 at the time.

I't s gone up in price a fair bit since then.
