I tested ours today and all the hydralics were fine, both claws are independent. It will be on ebay in the near future..! When I get a minute.

i have a 6635 and she like a good puff of smoke when you start her after doing road work or mowing. every experienced anything like that with yours? mines only done 4500 hours so i cant see why its doing it

could just be valve stem seals gone a bit hard. Oil runs down valves easier when hot.

steve thats what a mate of mine reckons. is it anything to worry about? looks a bit embarrasing when you pull into the shop for a pasty and then engulf the local area in a plume of smoke when you start back off thats all!

The valve seals not really a problem sometimes cause a bit of cokeing up around the head but engine oils have got so much better now less of a problem. May be worth getting someone to check things out in case its a turbo seal the engine may decide to run on its own oil.
