Whats the weight of that kind of thing. Curious as I'm pondering a big tractor and a loader and grab like that might be 1 way to go.

Think they're around 350kg. Big tractors are nice as they are roomy and have lots of horse power. The valtra in my pic is great for nipping in and out of the woods and is only 85hp. 4wd makes it a great little loader tractor with the valtra loader it will lift 1.9 tonnes. Well it will do more than that but thats exceading swl and removing 2 or sometime 3 wheels from the ground.

I havent heard from Ben since I pm'ed him to say I would take it at the price he asked.

I'm presuming he got a better offer.

Not great form by either seller or buyer IMO, but such is life. :001_rolleyes:

I don't check arbtalk every day.. It's still for sale, I'm not in any rush and am busy. When I checked I had a number of offers. Obviously I am going to listen, especially if one involves me finding a pallet and organising shipping.

You have been online numerous times since I sent you the PM.

I asked if you could put it on a pallet ( hardly a huge task) I never expected you to ship it, I would have arranged collection once my payment had cleared.

No longer interested anyway. :thumbup1:

I fancied a 6400/6550 but the "previously loved"price has gone to infinity and beyond. Will probably end up with an A series (same as yours I presume), once the new building is paid for / finished!

SWL - does that apply to agri / forestry kit? It always seems to being used at the max (with load alarms being turned off after a while!).

Big tractor - its all relative, my other tractor is a 30 hp Iseki that will go places you wouldn't take a quad, so it will be big for me.

  • 4 weeks later...

Well i got mine from Albutt this week, its awesome. Both claws are independent so give the best hold and the build quality is amazing.

I could recommend them more highly, i buy the best i can afford at all times, i have a funny feeling these are going to last a long time.
