Looks cool,I would maybe chamfer the splitter wedge guide block at the lower edge so it does not snag the wood when splitting (maybe you have,just doesnt look it in the pics),and maybe have a table to hold the split pieces.

Im not criticising,it looks great!:thumbup1:

Looks very similar to my Price-Fallows splitter which has a 2 foot square table.If I was building my own I would make the table at least 4 foot wide.

 

I have made up some 20 foot long extention hydraulic hoses so I can use it on a loader tractor.Drop splitter off next to tree, turn tractor around and throw split logs into bucket:thumbup1:

cheers, theres a small spike to hold a disk on the table to use as a baseplate for splitting wood on, and the rams not to bad i think its of a digger blade, well it would depend on what your running it off and at what RPM etc., this ones the second one :001_tongue: ive put a pic of the first attempt below :thumbup1:
