Had my management day results today,

 

Passed :001_smile:all bar 1:sneaky2:

 

Bit p'd off as no re-sits until October 2011,

 

 

just glad only have one left and its plant supply and utilisation.

 

 

must brush up on my ID and spelling

 

 

The end is in sight.....

Hi Warhammer,

 

Well done on getting through 3 of 4. Exactly the same for me but i missed out on the 5837 exercise by 3% which is a bit hard to swallow.

 

im trying to find out for certain if the re sits are in Oct 2011 which, if true, is a bit crap imo.

 

im sure i heard they would be running re sits in May but that may have changed.

 

i will post if i get some clarification.

I failed plant supply, woodland management and 5837, by 5, 3 and 1 % Exceedingly pi***d off with myself! Was told by staff on the day there would be no resit in may this time round, last may test was a one off. Perhaps if enough people request it it would be worth their while. I got a resit form in with my results, it says they are 3-7 Oct at arley arboretum, its gonna be a long wait, oh well...

A lot of people seem to have just failed... by small percentages........

I will add on my from that a may resit would be preferable... fingers crossed.

Bad luck to all you failures keep trying as its worth the hassle as its a good qualification

It's a big annoyance that I did so badly after doing so well in all the written papers (all distinctions bar one merit), really should have done more revision for these! Won't bore you with details but my mind was very much elsewhere on the day, oh well, look on the bright side- next time we can be better prepared, learn from our mistakes and pass with a higher percentage, rather than just scraping through. I'd be interested to see how my papers were marked, does anyone know if this is possible? Chin up

I have been told by one of the examiners that you are not able to see your papers.

You can't see how your papers are marked but you can ask for the Lead Examiners Report to be E-mailed to you from ABC Awards,which can give you a bit of an insight into what they're after and where you may have got it wrong.It definitely helped me to pass .....eventually! Good Luck ,Nowt worthwhile ever comes easy.

Another nearly pass from me too. Woodland management this time. I wonder if a may exam could be possible, there is money in it for them.

 

It does leave me feeling annoyed as i felt i had little knowledge of what to expect with this one but what can you do wait a whole year i guess!
