Went to fetch a load of timber rings on Sunday am couldn't get them all on fridays night. Got to the site to see that the Large black Poplar we had picked out as being dangerous in the march gales had dropped a large branch across the roof of a corsa!:001_cool:

Now the customer has a rather large bill for both daage to car, highways tree gang for their time and they still need to pay us to carryout the work we suggested in march they said they couldn't afford!

I've had one where I have applied for planning to remove one smallish branch.

You know, the 3 copies this, 3 copies that pain in the butt, 2 hours minimum, planning.

Customer phoned me yesterday pleased as punch, wind has blown a branch off the tree and it just so happens to be the branch in question.

Good job I now charge for planning otherwise I would have been really annoyed.

Went down and took photos to cover me. :sneaky2:

had three call outs on sunday, then spent the last two days running round picking up bits that noone spotted.... only one climb, smallish London plane, moving round like a rodeo bull.... quite exciting really but for the cars passing and the wind trying to rip the branches from my hands before i could drop them!
