Safety glasses steaming up!

As the title says my new Bolle tracker safety glasses are steaming up. Thought they would be the mutts nutts being sealed around the eye by foam to stop any crud getting in. Guess that is part of the problem.:cursing:

Anyone got any experience with these glasses and any genius ideas to stop them steaming up? Ive heard you can get spray for motorcycle visors.. would that work?

Spit.

It works

Cheers man. I know it works for diving masks but never thought to try it!

There is a lot of moisture in there though! Literally dribbling down the lense! Never thought I was that sweaty!!:blushing:

its the heat from your eyes steaming them up. try cleaning the insides with fairy liquid. i used to use it and it worked.

Nice one Dave. Will give it a go now. If that does not do the trick for the next time they get used I will just gob on them :sneaky2:

Those foam edged ones are rubbish. If they sealed round your eyes they might actually work by stoppign the steam getting in, but they don't seal enough so the moist air get in but can't get out so they steam up.

Looser fitting glasses woudl be better.

Cheers. I though that as soon as they started steaming up. Should have got the cheapo ones. :thumbup1: Seemed like a good idea at the time to go with ones that would stop crud getting in. Ah well, Gives me something to moan about :)
