To make an unvented bag vented rather than put slits into it use an electric soldering iron to put holes in the plastic. Because you are melting the plastic you still retain the strength whereas slits will weaken the bag

Thank you very much every one for all your help thats very kind, Thats perfect.. I'll get calling meanwhile I have ordered some from the link to keep me going, Great idea with the vents.. Bags like this is the way forward.. Regards to all Seth..

 

have you tried barrow bags they are dearer to buy but we surcharge them much easier to handle customers love them cause you can put them in the garage or whatever saves leaving a bulk bag on the street needing emptied straight away we have noted an increase in sales with customers happy cant be bad

And easy to deliver with a tail lift :thumbup1:

Dave, fine looking set up you've got there. What are the dimensions of those barrow bags please and how many logs do they hold, roughly ? Cheers

Thanks :blushing:. They are 48x48x90 (.2 m3). Logs vary in size so pointless to say how many logs but 5 bags make one cubic metre.
