First pic the log carry/race showing the ability of the ground crew to run with an awkward log, handy at the end of the day when you want to get home!! And second pic is the Climb area, showing the combination of awareness and teamwork between Climber and Groundie.

Running with logs - a great way to promote good H & S in the industry....... well done AA for running such a event :blushing:

Well, in the log carry race, they had to move a pile of logs against the clock, and in the climbing teamwork event, they had to climb to targets, throw pieces of wood down to a target, rake up, basically work as a team. Hopefully someone who took part will give a bit more detail.

Thats not a log! looks more like cheese, a big lump of cheese.

I'd like to see the rake master championships like in the States, see who can move a pile of brash the quickest.

I don't lift or carry logs, thats bad practice and i may put my back out.

look i took part in the comp. I dont know why people have to bad mouth this event it was a bit of fun. We was told we where not aloud to run with the logs for H&s reasons.

There was a fungi id event wich was very hard. The bar change event 044 and 020 both 3 times. The killer log run (sorry walk). The work climb the climber done his climbing duties and the groundie had to pass him a bucket, ring bells, rake up a pile of bark into a bucket. Then there was a loler event we had to look at around 30 items and pass or fail them. hope this helps.
