I had TE bad for a few years, but I have a wife and four children and my the money I make is our sole income, so I could stop work.

I found one of those neoprene sleeves helped a bit, but I just kept going and after a couple of years it went.

Same goes for my back, if it goes, I wear a leather lifting belt as tight as I can stand, take some pills and just keep going.

For me personally I find keeping going works best, if I stop I seize up.

That's the same as mr mate I can't stop work

then I chop and change from going to the gym or mma training etc. I know why I get these niggles but I like being active and to be fair if I have a week off or something my back etc is worse

I tried one of those bandages Robert they do help a little as soft as it sounds tennis elbow is a killer for me it's a horrible dull pain

you can get one with a rigid plastic strip that stops your arm straightening, ive had both mine hurt really bad having been caught in arm bars and not tapping on seperate occasions (stupid but in the heat of a comp), i know its important to work and being self employed we have to earn BUT i still think if you cant take a couple of week off to help your body recover whats the point of working for yourself :confused1:

i also subscribe to the idea of the stone masons hammer syndrome, that its not the one hit that breaks the stone its the hundred before it!!! if you keep training/working it either lets go big time or alters the rest of your body and not in a good way.

But thats just my opinion, i have lots of injuries now and i wish someone had told me to look after myself a bit better years ago, when i thought i was indestructable  im learning now though and i try to address any ache or pain i get as soon as i can.

take care guys

lol at spending the day ruining yer body dragging timber around and dangling from trees, then fighting in the evenings. I often have week long episodes where my arms and legs are as stiff as a board, and my hands are so weak that they couldn't scrunch up a paper bag.
