The other half wanted some wooden furniture. As usual I didn't listen too closely and made her an ash barber's chair instead.

 

 

The butt was getting on for 15 ft in the air! Took a while to sort this out without the benefits of a tractor. Lesson well and truly learnt!

A couple if pictures from today's Beech tree dismantle. Tricky drop zone with two garages etc. so every thing rigged. Forgot to get a before pics so first picture is at tea break.

 

Not the biggest tree but a lot of wood.

 

Back tomorrow to finish it off.

Ground level, hopefully.

 

Rumour has it the butt has concrete in there. Hope not!

 

It will be tricky getting it off from where it has grown through and into the garage roofs.
